Emily
By Travis Miller
For Emily Renee Borman, daughter of Tom and Twyla Borman and granddaughter of Jane and Pete Borman., born prematurely July 30, 1996 and died February 2, 1997 of complications due to broncopulmonary dysplaisa.
There has to be a reason why you were taken away.
I’ll try not to question things I cannot say.
It has hurt us to lose you but it had to be;
Heaven’s work is waiting our angel Emily.
Your perfect little soul so free of sin;
He’s smiling at the gate now to welcome you in.
When you feel the wind blow and hear the birds sing;
Fly with them, girl, you fought for those wings.
When life has us down and things seem so wrong;
Fly high above us and guide us along.
Baby, try on those wings, they fit like a glove;
Shower us with faith, sweet Emily, angel of love.
I’m glad I met you.
Love, Uncle Travis
