To My Son

You lived in my womb
I felt your presence
I knew your soul
you were my friend
then my child, you died.
Your spirit
as real and as complete as my
other children’s, lives in my
heart.
You are now and forever, my son,
my precious baby. I need to tell
you that I love you.
