Infants Remembered In Silence Inc. honors the millions of pregnancies in the United States that end in early pregnancy (miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, etc.) from stillbirth, neo-natal death, birth defects, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), sudden unexplained death of a child (SUDC), illness, accidents, and all other types of infant and early childhood death.

IRIS in conjunction with infant loss organizations and support groups around the world, are joining together to remember these losses. They would like people to join others around the world in lighting candles to remember and honor infants that have died from any cause from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in your home or to join a representatives from IRIS as remembrance candles are lighted outside of the IRIS office, 101 Third St. N.W., at the same time.
