"Lights of Love" International Wave of Light Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

10/15/2009
October 15th is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day; on this very single day I along with millions of other around the world will be participating in the "Lights of Love" an International Wave of Light around the world. I am asking that you consider participating as well.

Wave of light participants are asked to light a candle in remembrance of children that have died in pregnancy or infancy at 7 pm (1900 hours) on October 15th in your time zones.

Participants are asked to begin lighting their candles at 7 pm (1900 hours) and burn them for a period of at least one hour. The Result is a continuous chain of light spanning the globe for a 24 hour period in honor and remembrance of our children.

Candles can be lighted individually or in groups, in your home or in a community setting. Wherever you are, you will be joining an international wave of light in memory of all the children who have passed away during pregnancy or shortly after birth.

The wall is available to add the name and date/s of the child/ren that you will be lighting a candle in memory of. If you have a memorial website for your child that you would like to share you may post the url as well. If you have a photo you would like to share it can be posted in the photo section.

Spread the love and send a bear hug to your family and friends and ask them to join you on October 15th at 7:00pm to light a candle in honor and remembrance of all families who have loss children during pregnancy and shortly after birth.
