| I never touched your tiny face,
but in my heart it’s you I embrace. I never heard your newborn cry, instead I’m asking God “why?” I never saw your gentle smile, but you’ll always be my little child. Even though we’re worlds apart, I hold you close within my heart. I place you now in God’s strong arms, safe from worries, safe from harms. And when in heaven again we meet, then, my child, we’ll be complete. |
