This month came back with great regret,
It brings a day we will never forget.

You fell asleep without a goodbye,
But your memories will never die.

We miss you more than anyone knows,
As each day passes, our emptiness grows.

The tears we shed will wipe away,
But the ache in our hearts will always stay.

No one knows the grief we bear,
When our family meets, and you’re not there.

You left so suddenly, your thoughts unknown,
But you left us memories we are proud to own.
