November 3rd 2016 I wish I was only sharing the beginning of this story; the exciting, joyous, fortunate part of this story. That's right, one of the happiest days of Luke and I's life, the last day of September, as some of you know Luke and I found out we were expecting twins! I've always wanted twins and Luke's mom is a twin, what a dream come true! There they were in the ultrasound two perfect babies, our perfect babies. We ran around telling our family the special news, started planning, made purchases, and dreaming of what our family would look like with Kennedy as a big sister. Then last Thursday happened, the terrible part of this story; the heartbreaking, dream ending, unfair, gut wrenching, part. I was 12 weeks 4 days and I lost my babies. I will spare you the details of the miscarriage, just know that I'd never wish it upon my worst enemy. The physical pain is over, now we need to grieve. Our perfect dream of twins is gone and I don't think the pain will ever end. Luke and I are doing our best to work through our loss and are so grateful for the support, love, and prayers from everyone. Team Members:
