Dear Parents,

You have lost so much already, I know. So please, do not lose yourself.

In the beginning, words of comfort like this sounds so hollow. No one wants someone else's "words of wisdom" because every situation is different. We all need a different amount of time to grieve simply because there is no place else to go, and nothing is ahead but emptiness and uncertainty, we've got to step out of the shade and back into the sun. It may hurt our eyes at first, but it will also dry our tears. Remember very few things grow in the shade. Embracing life again is not a sign that you have stopped missing or loving your baby, but an example of a love that is eternal.
