We would like to thank you for your patience, kindness, and support as we make adjustments to the 12th Annual IRIS Turkey Trot as ordered by the state of Minnesota Governor on 11/18/2020. November 18th Governor of MN Executive Order

We have been preparing for the 2020 Turkey Trot for 14 months. This annual fundraising event has a huge impact on IRIS programming. While we have had to move to a Virtual Turkey Trot this year, we look forward to seeing you all in person next year.

Registration for the Virtual Turkey Trot will remain open until 8 AM on Thanksgiving morning November 26, 2020.

Please NOTE Additional Changes:

  • Curbside Check-in will now be at the IRIS Office (218 3rd Ave. NW Faribault MN 55021) on:
    • Wednesday, November 25th from NOON – 6:30 PM
    • Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 4th from 10 AM – 5:30 PM

    Please do not leave your car, we will come to you.
    This is a location change and time change!

  • Register online to participate in the Turkey Trout until 8 AM Thanksgiving morning.
  • Registration in the Turkey Trot is nonrefundable
  • What is a Virtual Walk or Run?

    It simply means that you can go for a walk or run anywhere in the world. In the case of the IRIS Turkey Trot it means you can go for a walk or run in your neighborhood, in a special location, on a treadmill, or you can still go on the IRIS Route by viewing the maps below or by logging into the RunGo App.

  • All Prizes will be distributed by random drawing of adult participants. You will be notified if your name is drawn and will be asked to make an appointment for prize picked up at the IRIS Office the week after the race.

Attention Trot Teams:

  • All donations to your Team must be in by 6:30 PM on November 25th to qualify for the Top Team Prize.
  • The Top Team Prize is now valued at $600!

All funds must be turned in by 6:30 PM on November 25, 2020.
Teams are the heart of this event. They are made up of family members, friends, coworkers and others who have been touched by the death of a child as a way to celebrate, remember and honor this precious life.
All proceeds will benefit Infants Remembered In Silence, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to offering parents, families, friends and professionals support, education and resources on the death of a child.

Funds raised will be used to provide bereavement support to families who have had a child die in early pregnancy (ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, miscarriage, etc.) or from stillbirth, neo-natal death, birth defects, illness, accident, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) (accidental suffocation, strangulation, overlay, etc.), and all other types of infants and early childhood death.
